Michael Dion, DMD
Dr. Dion has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and has been the proud owner of Pinkerton Dental Group. Today, he’s proud to have passed the torch of ownership to Dr. Ropi and continues to support him in growing and transitioning the practice. Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Dion earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University (1986) after graduating with honors from Boston College with dual degrees in Biology and Philosophy. A firm believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Dion achieved his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 1993, an honor held by a small percentage of dentists. He later returned to academia to earn a master’s in clinical research from the MGH Institute at Massachusetts in 1993, where he focused on solutions for dry mouth in elderly patients. Most recently, he has been an active voice in the dental field, presenting his research on "Oral Cancer Screening Protocols" in major cities including Boston, Washington D.C., and San Antonio.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Dion has served as a consulting dentist for WMUR (Channel 9) and is an active member of the Derry Medical Reserve Corps. He resides locally with his wife, Sally, and is the proud father of three children.
